L-1: launch postponed !

lightning strike at the launch pad on Friday.

The Shuttle Mission Management team decided this afternoon to postpone the STS-115 launch for at least 24 hours.

Space Shuttle Atlantis' slow, 4.2-mile journey from the
Vehicle Assembly Building to the pad began at 1:05 a.m.
